Weekend Tour with Trekking to Snow Line

Tour Itinerary

Organised tour with transport & Guide covering the main interesting places and round trip tours

Day 01 : Arrive Dharamshala by Volvo bus from Delhi.

Transfer to Hotel. Cclamatise , relax , freshen up followed by breakfast. Later walk tour of Dharamshala. Stay over night

Day 02 : Mcleod Ganj-Triund (2875m), 4 to 5 hours walk

We start walking from Mcleod Ganj. It is steep ascent through mixed forest of oak, rhododendron and deodar trees. Triund is an alpine meadow from where we have superb view of the snow covered peaks of Dhauladhar mountain range on one side and Kangra valley on the other. Overnight stay in trekking tents.

Day 03 : Triund-Laka Got(3200 m)-Triund 9 kms, 4 to 5 hours walk

After breakfast we walk further up from Triund. Laka Got is situated at the snout of a small glacier. The glacier is full of snow from March to June and during post monsoon it melts away or recede back. From Laka got we have close view of the peaks of Dhauladhar. Walk back to Triund for overnight stay in tents.

Day 04 : Monday - Triund-Bhagsu Nag 9 kms, 3 hours walk

It is downhill walk for 4 hours to Bhagsu Nag where you end up your trek. You can take a different route on the way back passing through Laheta village and Bhagsu water fall. The trek ends at road-head at Bhagsu Nag from where it is 10 minutes walk on the road to Mcleod Ganj. Overnight stay in Hotel or one can also depart on the same day to the next destination by overnight Volvo bus or train.

Trekking Cost Includes

• All Meals during the trek starting with lunch on day 01 till lunch on day 03 of the trek.
• All deluxe trekking arrangements including accommodation in alpine style trekking tents on twin sharing with matteress, sleeping bag, kitchen tent, dinning tent with camping stool, dry pit toilet tent,etc.
• Trekking guide, cook and camp helpers.
• Ponies to carry all your trekking luggage and camping equipment.
• Bottled water during the trek.

Trekking Cost Does Not Include

• Hotel accommodation and meals in Dharamsala before and after the trek.
• Transportation to and from Dharamsala before and after the trek.
• Items and services of personal nature like soft drinks, alcoholic drinks, laundry, etc.
• Tips to trekking crew.
• Any other service that are not mentioned under the head “Cost Includes”
